Distractions Whilst Cycling
Cycling along the Brisbane River is a great karma yoga (meditating whilst performing actions) exercise. There are so many distractions, most of them nice of course. Nice people, nature, activities, places. So with so many 'pulls' creating a myriad of thoughts and feelings, how to focus the mind. Churning (thinking creatively and deeply) knowledge of the self, God and The Drama is one way. Try to stay focussed on what was it is you decided to think Think slowly. This particular knowledge is very powerful and able to uplift the most disheartened. Holding a vision of the true self, or God, steadily in the mind, is another. The main thing is to keep putting yourself back on the tracks of your intended thoughts/visualisation whenever you wander off, which you almost sure to do.
